Articulate Storyline Project Management Scenario
This interactive, scenario-based learning experience guides trainees through the five phases of project management through the launching of a pop-up cat café. Learners step into the shoes of a first-time project manager, making key decisions at each phase of the project. Rather than presenting information all at once, the experience uses a just-in-time learning approach: a reference manual is available throughout, encouraging learners to consult it in the moments when they need it most. This structure reinforces retention by requiring immediate application.
The course was built in Articulate Storyline, where I designed the branching logic and layered interactions. I also used Inkscape to edit and customize SVG graphics and PowerPoint to create a consistent, polished visual design system.
By the end of this video, learners will be able to:
⭐ Enumerate the five phases of project management.
⭐ Differentiate between the roles and responsibilities of project managers, stakeholders, and clients.
⭐ Recognize and apply appropriate decisions aligned with each project phase.
This project showcases skills in visual design, action mapping, and story-based instructional development.

Group Work Video Presentation
This 18-minute video presentation guides trainers and facilitators through the process of integrating group work into their workshops with intention and structure. It highlights key considerations for designing collaborative activities, addresses common challenges, and provides practical strategies to ensure group work is effective, inclusive, and aligned with learning objectives.
I developed this project by scripting the content in Google Docs, designing visuals in PowerPoint, recording and editing the voiceover in Audacity, and uploading the final product to YouTube, fully captioned. The video reflects both research-backed strategies and insights from my own experience in training and instructional design.
The video incorporates a worksheet component designed to promote hands-on learning. Instead of simply watching, viewers work through guided exercises to develop a structured group-work plan tailored to their training needs. By the end, they will have a ready-to-use activity along with a rubric to assess its effectiveness and refine it as needed.
By the end of this video, trainee instructors will be able to:
⭐ Identify the benefits of collaborative, applied learning.
⭐ Acquire practical solutions to meet common challenges.
⭐ Plan effective group exercises, from structuring activities to writing clear instructions.
⭐ Evaluate their instruction plan, ensuring activities align with learning outcomes and engage all participants.
This project showcases my ability to translate instructional expertise into engaging, structured learning experiences. It demonstrates a balance of theoretical knowledge, practical application, and technical execution, creating a polished, interactive training resource that is both effective and accessible.
Articulate Rise Argument Writing Tutorial
This tutorial series guides early-stage writers through the full process of constructing an effective argumentative essay. From choosing a topic and conducting preliminary research to crafting a focused thesis, organizing sub-claims, integrating evidence, and revising for clarity, each step is broken down into approachable, actionable lessons. Developed in Articulate Rise, the course leverages the platform’s clean, modular format to effectively deliver theory and practice in manageable, interactive segments.
As a former long-time instructor of Rhetoric and Composition, I served as both subject matter expert and instructional designer for this project. Drawing on years of classroom experience, I distilled foundational strategies into focused, practical tools. The tutorial includes interactive exercises, formative assessments, and case-based examples to promote active learning and immediate application.
By the end of this tutorial series, learners will be able to:
⭐ Refine a broad area of interest into a specific, researchable topic.
⭐ Craft a complex, specific, and arguable thesis statement.
⭐ Structure an argument by developing logically sequenced sub-claims.
⭐ Select, analyze, and synthesize evidence to support each stage of the argument.
⭐Apply drafting and revision strategies to improve clarity, coherence, and rhetorical impact.
This project demonstrates thoughtful instructional sequencing, an informed understanding of common learning gaps in communicative competencies, and practical solutions that precisely address those gaps.

Sourdough Troubleshooting Guide
Following a recipe can look easy, but problems can crop up at any moment, stalling progress. I created this FAQ-style troubleshooting guide to be used in the culinary education context for diagnosing and correcting common dough issues as they a-RISE!
Designed in Canva, this guide serves as a classroom reference, allowing students to identify mistakes, adjust their techniques, and improve their dough handling skills independently.
By breaking down issues into an "if x, then y" structure, this resource helps bakers address specific issues as they encounter them, reinforcing hands-on learning and integrating troubleshooting into the baking process, thereby helping students develop problem-solving skills.
This Resource:
✔ Provides a quick-reference guide for common sourdough issues.
✔ Reinforces problem-solving skills in baking education.
✔ Helps students diagnose mistakes independently, reducing the need for instructor intervention.
✔ Can be used as a classroom handout, poster, or digital resource.
